Love to read my story?

I’m Elly, an End-to-End Product Designer who specializes in simplifying complex B2B workflows and designing human-centered AI features. My work sits at the intersection of design, AI, and product strategy, where I transform complex processes into clear, confident user experiences.

The Intentional Journey

My path into product design began in Iran and has been shaped by intentional choices and meaningful transitions.
I first studied Architecture (2018) and later completed a Master’s in Interior Design (2021). Alongside my studies, I worked in Graphic Design, which taught me the foundations of visual hierarchy, structure, and communication. During my interior design thesis, I interviewed users for the first time. I learned to pivot to UX after realizing the importance of user pain points.

After graduating, I learned UI/UX through self-education and began taking freelance and startup projects. Over the next few years, I helped several early-stage companies launch products from scratch, including Persian Saze (2021), Wira Club (2022), PerPetual (2022), Zameer (2023), and multiple consultancy clients. These projects strengthened my end-to-end skills and taught me how to navigate ambiguity, collaborate with founders, and build systems with clarity.

Growth Under Constraint

In early 2024, I moved to Belgium with uncertainty, limited Dutch, and no clear idea of how my career would unfold. A few months later, I became the solo designer in a B2B startup (Dillen), the only design voice in a room full of engineers. The solo role at Dillen was challenging, intense, and sometimes overwhelmingbut it pushed me to grow faster than ever.
I later joined Yaghma, a B2B consultancy company in Delft. As a designer, I worked on multiple B2B and B2C products. Here, I significantly strengthened my product thinking and execution agility, learning to navigate intense pressure and limited deadlines while delivering full product cycles for research-driven UX and graphic works.

Today: AI, Data, and Workflow Logic

Today, I design for systems where clarity matters most: B2B SaaS, fintech, and healthcare. After joining Vitaly Friedman’s AI design pattern workshop and building my own AI-focused learning path, I’ve become deeply interested in how AI can support users without overwhelming them. My focus now is on workflow logic, data-heavy UX, and AI features that guide, scaffold, and empower people.

Mentorship & Leadership

I also invest heavily in the next generation of designers. Through my brand UXbyElly and collaborations with senior mentors such as Marzie Nadali, I help students build stronger case studies, understand strategic prioritization, and improve their skills in design systems and AI-driven product design.

For me, design is more than a job,
it’s a way to connect across cultures, simplify complexity, and give people tools that genuinely improve everyday life.
